I just bought a new socom 16  there are a few things I want to do to improve this rifle and ill start with sling options. Is it possible to bed a QD socket into the rear of the stock? this would be my preferred method if it is stable. another idea I had would be to use a vtac buttstock adaptor then the vltor front sling adaptor that clamps over the stock.
another thing I would like to add is a magpul rail section or similar on the bottom of the forend to mount a VFG. is there enough clearance to do this without getting in the way of the oprod? |
