| I ordered a Garland Garand from the cmp in December and haven't heard from them yet. I snail mailed my info and order form on the 10th of December. Is it normal to go this long not hearing anything? I do understand that the time frame will be lengthened from the holidays. |

there's an order timeline thread over on the CMP forum where you can follow along with others and observe current waiting times: CMP FORUMS>CMP Sales>M1 Garand>New Order Timeline.
When your order is received and entered into the system they'll send you a DBU (DON'T BOTHER US) email, basically telling you the order is in the system a there is nothing else to tell you until the rifle is ready to ship. This email is usually sent about two weeks after the order is received, but I know the CMP was closed for a while during the holidays so expect additional delays. I ordered two Garands last year, both about July 1, a Service Grade HRA and a CMP Special 30-06 Springfield. The SG HRA shipped in early October, the CMP Special springfield I received a week before xmas. |

I sent mine on 9/11/13 and got an email on 9/30/13 that my order has been received and the wait was 60-90 days on my Springfield Special grade 30-06.
It has been over 120 days from my order and I still haven't got my rifle Email Lindsey Smith at [email protected] and tell her your situation. She can tell you the day that they are opening mail from (ie, opening orders that arrived on xx/xx/xxxx). That will give you an idea of how much longer it will be or if your mail did not arrive. |
