It has been awhile since I've ordered anything off the e-store, and when I logged on to check out their ammo today I was surprised to see a message telling me that my proof of club membership has reached its expiration.
I thought that only applied to rifle orders, and that once you had jumped through all those hoops you were free to use the e-store as long as you please.

Did the cmp recently change the rules or has it always been this way?  I just don't recall the e-store requiring you to stay current with the proof of club membership.

You always have to show proof of club membership for ammo.
You dont need proof of firearms activity but need club membership, been that way as along as I can remember

So they can see my GCA membership has expired, or they just need me to show that proof once every so often?

They know it is expired , you need to have current club membership.  Bad thing about the GCA is it runs from Sept-Sept no matter when you join. If you join today for $25 you will only get 3 months
I recommend the M1 Collectors Club, $14 per year and runs a full year from the day you join

I just noticed that on the gca site, thanks for the other recommendation!
