Like it a lot but...
Polytech seems to be too deep in the heel to fit right. When the top rail is pinned to the chassis it bows up over the rear sight pocket. Wanting to put a Springfield in it but it's got a full heavy barrel and the barrel band block won't go on til I modify it.
This is just a problem with my rifles not the MCS. When I had the Poly in it it shot like a completely different firearm as far as recoil and muzzle climb. I was a little concerned at first about how the M4 buttstock would transmit the recoil to the shoilder. Didn't have any of the mild discomfort that I usually get from the standard M14 stock. With the barrel being inline with the butt the muzzle doesn't jump like a regular stocked 14. Piece of cake to mount optics too.

I have a SA squad scout, was thinking of it or the upper rail system for it, but I really like the look and idea of the whole MCS chassis system. Time to contemplate.

I've got one and I'm a fan, all the rails are nice.  There's plenty of real-estate for anything you'd like to mount on it.  I bought mine from Fulton, so it came with the Magpul PRS, which I also like, but despite being 6'1" I've still got to have the butt screwed almost all the way in.

Its heavy.  Really heavy.  An extra pound doesn't sound like much till its on the end of your rifle.

The cut-out for the selector switch bothers me.  Its a big ol' gap right behind the mechanism.  I haven't gotten in any mud or taken it into a sand storm, but it seems like it would be an open invitation to filth.

I haven't had any problems at all with fit or finish.  Everything went together pretty easily, but be aware they aren't joking about putting loc-tite on all the screws.  The rifle will shake itself apart in a few hundred rounds (not that that happened to me. . .).

All my problems are rather petty though.  I still recommend it if you don't want to go the EBR route.
