Anyone have or use these in conjunction with SAGE EBR chassis?

http://www.policeguns.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28_226&products_id=5628

Would this mount be the same height as the top rail of the chassis?

That cartridge clip sight base (part number M14SCSB) will work with the Sage M14 EBR stock.  It's a factory part.

You need to modify it slightly or it isn't worth a duck's fart.

The factory Allen drive securing pin doesn't hold it all that secure and the base wanders and wiggles around on the receiver shelf.
I turned down an Allen drive cap screw to fit the through hole in the receiver shelf, then milled out the scope base to accept the cap screw head leaving enough threading to force the scope base tight against the receiver shelf
There is still enough bearing surface on the milled rear slot to hold any type of scope ring securely
This set up now works better than my SAGE Cantilever scope base, adds less weight, and regulates perfectly with the handguard. HTH
