For awhile SA Inc used a bunch of Lock Bar sights in a certain serial # range.
They did this because.. A. They happened to have a boat load of Lock bar sets on Hand. B. They had a batch of recievers with weak poorly stamped elevation detents and normal elevation knobs wouldn't hold. Before dreaming of selling the sights for big $ take them off and try a set of later style and see if they will work. |

well son of a gun... I like them apples––- thanks for all the replies.
I actually liked the lockbar because I still haven't mastered the tight vs. too tight, vs. too loose with the windage knob screw. Either that or I've had some worn out flat-tab & grooves with the wind & elev knobs. |
