Anybody have one of their m-14s yet? The receivers are forged.

A couple of people on here do. I haven't seen anything bad about them.

Last I read on here is that the bolts aren't surplus anymore but the rest of the parts are(minus barrel)

If you do a search I'm sure you can find something

I got mine a while back and took it to the range this past weekend for a function test. Shot 100 rounds of a combination of FN NATO and Wolf. Not a single malfunction...Seemed to hit where I aimed at 50 yards. Like I said I was just function testing and not shooting for accuracy. That will have to wait as I'm now working on my CETME assessing its reliability and accuracy.

Anyways here are some pics of mine:

The receiver is forged, made by 762mm Firearms for James River Armory. Mine came with a LRB marked Criterion barrel that is chrome lined. The Bolt is Fulton Armory and the rest of the parts are USGI surplus. I think these are a good deal when comparing them to the other high end manufacturers that ask for $2500 for their entry level. Unless you are looking specifically for a forged M14 with USGI parts buy SAI and be done with it. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.
