I may have a deal to pick up an M1 Carbine that is missing the trigger housing group. It's beat up and sat in a barn for years, but I think that's part of the fun of making it work again. Any good places I should look to get the whole group or parts? I checked Fulton, but $150 seems a little high for an ugly Inland.

Tell us more about the carbine itself. Make, vintage, remaining parts and the like.

Also, if whomever had the carbine has removed the trigger housing for whatever reason - if a certain part happens to be there that shouldn't be - that part can be tossed and all will be well. Assuming the same happened to the trip lever and switch. Just a thought...

Obviously  there may be other reason for the trigger group to be gone. For instance it is possible that a collectible unit could be worth much more in pieces and parts than together.
