I'm getting a screaming deal on a SOCOM II Urban Camo. While both sides are very happy with the deal, I feel like I am ripping the other guy off.
Anyways. Been a while since I had a M1A, and never really been a M14 guy, I need a little help. 1. What distance zero is best for this short barreled M14? 2. What is the best way to mount a scope on this rifle? 3. Who makes the rail attachment in this pic? Link Will it work on the rail on the SOCOM 2? 4. Is anyone still selling this model of the Sage stock? link to pic 5. Oh lastly I was remembering the thread about sniping from a blackhawk helicopter, but as usual ARFCOM search and archive search have failed me. Anyone got the link handy? Thanks. |

1. You'll likely get different answers on this. IMO, zero this rifle (SOCOM II Urban Camo model AA9628) at 100 meters.
2. Much has been written about this. What is the intended application of the rifle? Do you know you could get the AA9629 model that has an extended cluster rail? The extended cluster rail runs from the front band to the cartridge clip guide. How about using iron sights only? 3. Sage International, LLC but If you get the AA9629 model M1A, you won't need it. I don't know if it is compatible due to difference in height between the Sage M14 EBR stock and the SAI / Vltor extended cluster rail. 4. Try Clyde Armory in Georgia. 5. This is back one page. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=6&t=304066 |
