I bought a Loaded M1a with a black synetic stock and want to convert to a walnut stock. Anyone have any good sources for stocks? Also is the front hand guard steel or fiberglass on the newer models?

I got the one in this thread from Numrich's for $60. The Walnut handguard came from Boyd's ($14).

I have a nice Walnut one off a loaded. It has the selector cut out and all the metal.

Boyds often has overstocks and seconds for a good price. I would be interested in purchasing yoiur synthetic if you don't want to keep it.
