| What arms 22 rings would I use if I have an arms 18 mount and mounting a tasco super sniper scope? Thanks |
| More than likely a medium, but you would really have to figure that out based on the dimensions of your scope. The ARMS website tells you the ring height dimensions which are measured from the top of the scope mount to the center of the ring. Use that as a guide. |

I'm running a Super Sniper 10X on a SA M1A with an Old-style ARMS #18 with ARMS #22 medium height QD rings and it's fine. The rear of the scope clears the rear sight fine with flip covers on & there's plenty of room up front on the objective. The ARMS 18 gives it height plus the medium 22's height to work. |

How is the ARMS mount working for everyone? Is it pretty good? Mine is solid as a rock. The dimensions of your scope's bell will determine your ring height. I have a Shepherd scope and use medium height ARMS #22s. Make sure that you mount them so the throw levers extend towards the ends of the scope when snugged. It makes it way easier to get the scope off that way. |
