I have a Sage CQB stock on one of my M1As and I want to put an electronic dot sight on it.
I chose an Aimpoint Microdot because of how low the mount is I felt that it would give me the best cheek weld. When I mounted the scope on the rifle the mount doesn't seem to fit the Sage rails. I tightened it down all the way and the scope is still extremely loose and moves all over the place. I was only using the Aimpoint mount that came with it, again, because I liked how low the scope sits, but obviously that isn't going to work. Is there an alternative Aimpoint Micro mount that sits as low as the Aimpoint mount and will attach to the Sage rails? Thanks, Tom |

Tried to mount the T-1 on my other Sage stock, same issue, the sight moves all over, the gap between the raised portion on the rails is too large and it allows the sight to slide forward and backwards. I mounted the Micro on one of my AR's and it was fine. I guess I need to find a new mount for the Micro. Does LaRue make a really low mount?

. Does LaRue make a really low mount? Tom They sure do. If you check their site you'll see a T-1 on a Benelli M4 shotgun. It's a very low mount. I bought mine for that shotgun but the Benelli doesn't have a pure Picatinney rail so I put it on my FN PS90. |
