I know that this site has a wealth of knowledge so here goes.
I have a Spingfield M1A with the "Extended Cluster Rail" I am looking at getting a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T 2.5x8 and would like to know in anyone can recommend a set of rings. I basically need to know what the proper height would need to be on order to clear the rear iron sights on the rifle. I am looking at the ARMS #22 LOW rings, any suggestions? Thanks for any feedback

I have no sights on my M1A but I do on my MK12 mod 0 AR and they are Arms quick detach.
They look cool and they are corect for my build, but I think you sacrifice strength with a quick disconect feature. LaRue mounts allow for a tighter clamp but they will mark your rails.
