Not me. For those who are, I hope it's better than the Turkish 8mm that was selling a few years ago. All of the Turk 8 mm that I shot was pretty good. Who is ATI? Yeah, there was a couple of years that the Turks turned out some turd 8mm, but the vast majority of it is pretty good stuff. It was a steal at $3/bando. BTW - I have shot some of the bad year's 8mm and lived to tell about it. I never knew it was bad until some time after I shot it. I did find several with loose bullets and a few with cracked necks and broke what was left of the lot down for components (bullets). All the Turk I have bought since has been FAR better quality. ETA - I've never shot their .308 and really don't know a thing about it. |

Consensus is to keep it out of semi autos. Good to go in bolt actions. Something about the burn rate of the powder.
Do you even know what the OP is talking about??? ATI (american tactical imports) is bring in new manf .223 and .308. It is pretty nice stuff. A little on the high side as far as price goes, but I've shot a couple of boxes of the .223 and .308, they have shot good out of my rifles, but I don't have an M1A for which you are asking. It shot as well as prvi out of my DPMS. |
