Does anyone have experience with a 308 round from Germany. The boxes are labeled; AB22, 20 PATRONE, 7,62 x 51, DM 111, WEICHKERN. Then there is a circle with a cross in it which means NATO spec ammo but then there is another circle next to it that is colored all black. Finally the at the bottom of this label is LOS DAG93A0306. The round itself is curious because it looks the same as any other 308 except the bullet is a silver color. It almost looks like pewter.
Does anyone have any experience or information regarding this ammo. What is it, where did it come from (other than Germany, I know this much). Is it a specialty round? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. |
