Hey guy's, I just purchased a new SA M1A. The dealer told me it had a NM barrel. How can I tell for sure it does? Can I look up the serial number ? Where can I find out about my rifle? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I just got 1000 rounds of German .308 from Aim's. Is this good stuff?

If it doesn't have bedding around the receiver footprint and in the mag well, then it's not a NM rifle.  No disassembly required––the bedding is pretty obvious.

nevermind, I found it on the box.
it states: M1A  .308 W/N W.STK & NM BBL

I guess this means National Match Barrel.

some, but not all, will be marked NM on the top of the barrel between the gas system and the front site,

your flash hider should be reamed also,
