I don't know if this is the right place to post this but... I have been a member of M-14forum.com for a long time and I love reading about the M1A M14 type rifle. I don't post very often, I'm mainly a lurker but now when I try to get on the site it says that my IP address has been banned. I have sent several messages to the administrator but I haven't got any replies yet. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I'd just like to know what happened and if I can get back on the site. I thought I would post something here to see if any of my fellow M1A shooters could help me out. Thanks, A confused M1A shooter

I've checked your account and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I also went through our list of banned IP addresses and yours is not listed. Are you checking the little remember me box when you log on? That seems to be the fix all to most login problems. I have received no messages e-mail or otherwise from you. Checked my spam folder taboot. |

Did you forget your password then try to re-register under a new name? The same IP would show and it might get you banned. My son does not have a computer and/or internet access so he uses my PC occasionally. He tried to open an account here on ArFcom using my PC and was denied because it was the same IP as my account. He didn't tell me until a week or so ago. I guess I got lucky because it didn't get me banned here. |
