SEI Vortex. Just installed one on my new Poly and is a straight swap out for the original FH. You just move the original front sight over to the new one. You can't beat a Vortex.

A flash suppressor will not reduce muzzle climb, that is what a break is designed for. The break will definitely increase the noise level experienced by your neighbors at the range!

SA and SEI both sell breaks that are a direct replacement for the factory flash suppressor.

Confusing? Yes, but the key words in his post are "to reduce muzzle climb". At least that's the way I read it

It's BRAKE, not break, people.

SEI M14 US Coast Guard Muzzle Brake #2001

I use an SEI brake vented much like that one on 18" bbl Garands in .308 and 30/06. They're very effective in reducing muzzle rise and don't do a bad job in redicing flash in comparision to a bare muzzle.
