Depends on who builds it. There are lots of different "national match" M1A's out there. Some will shoot a minute out to 1000 yards. Some will never. At the very least it should shoot 1.5 minutes out to 600 Frank |
yup, maybe better with someone else pulling the trigger. I've only shot it at 200 and 1000yds, and its been 2 years since I last shot it. Maybe it could do better as I've learned more since I last shot it. The 36 minutes up on the rear sight makes for a cheek weld that literally splits my lip open with each shot, so I'd rather shoot the AR. |
I got a fat lip the first time I shot an M1A. My loaded had the fat stock on it and I didn't put my thumb on the heal of the receiver. So my thumb beat my right lip up pretty good. Now I point that thumb a little more forward. I know some people use it as a guide, but to me, it hurts.  You going to shoot in the M14 match at perry? |
