Anyone running an Aimpoint on a Sage Clip guide rail? What do you think of the setup? Stable? Do you have pics of the setup? Anywho how are you guys mounting up you Aimpoints? the factory Scout mount from SA is peeing me off  |
To be fair I dont think its so much the Mount as it is the postion, Im use to running dots up closer to the reciever on ar's and it make the tube of the optic "Disappear",. running the aimpoint out that far just messes with my eyes I guess. |

I've got an ARMS 18 Old Style mount with a standard ARMS 22M Throw Lever Ring. I was going to use the 22M68, but I've heard that it doesn't work well with the limited engagement footprint of the 18 Old Style. It's not the most conventional, but I haven't had any problems with it. The set up has next to no adjustment for eye relief, but I'm cross dominant, so I do better with the optic closer to my eye. It works for me. |
