Very nice.  Did it come to you with the WWII bolt or did you add it to get a tighter headspace?

Looks nice

Alittle denatured alchohol will remove the dried BLO and carmalized oil off the metal and return the matte green/black finish. just wipe down with oil when done to refill the pores in the parkerizing. Don't get any DA on thewood, it will remove the finish.

That is the way that I got it. Have not bothered to track down the correct one yet.

I'm going to have to try that. I think I used Hoppes once before. I'll revise the pics after the cleaning.
