If you need to contemplate that decision, you haven't done your homework on George Gardner and Mike Rock.

I do own two GA Precision Bolt guns  ( The Rock ) I,m very familiar with their Quaity .

I,m spoiled by the accuracy of their bolt guns - will the GAP M14 be just as Good ?

think about that one for a minute. About 400 for the stock, another 350 for the barrel, 500 for a receiver not to mention the bolt op rod trigger group and such and right there ou're up at or over 1500 not counting labor, not to mention it was built by George so you know it's going to be a shooter.

Given comparable builds the bolt gun will be marginally more accurate and remain so longer ie. more rugged. That's just the way it is,alot more variables in a gas gun.BUT,your'e trading a slight bit of accuracy for a big increase in firepower.Off the bench is one thing but there aren't many shooters who could wring out max accuracy in field conditions,at least not enough for there to be a discernible diffrence in practical accuracy between the two. That being said,1,500 is a screaming deal.
