[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I feel shorted!

I thought it was just my imagination, not paying close attention to things at the range but I've had a feeling sometimes that some boxes of my SA 7.62x51 surplus were a round short....

Lo and behold - I just opened three boxes and one had only 19. I can't tell you the ratio I've experienced, but I bet I've had that 'feeling' at the range about three times, now.

I'm sure I'm not the first to gripe, and as gripes go in this life, it's a small thing. But - damnit! - when I pay for a case containing X number of 20rnd boxes, some of which only contain 19rnds, that can add up and bug me.

Anyone else?

Well just fly over to SA and kick the shit out of the machine that packaged it.

It's milsurp, stuff happens, no one is going to open all the BPs and count the rounds before they sell them.

I'd hate to be that poor schlep in garrison who is issued that "box of 20" and have to explain why there is one round missing
