I have a CMP Garand with a canted front sight. It looks like the barrel was timed incorrectly. I hear I can send it back to the CMP for replacement, but I only want to do that as a last resort. It's a real beauty and I'm already too attached to let it go.  So, my question is...is this a fixable problem? If it is fixable, then what has to be done and how do you do it? Thanks!
