www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/eligibility_requirements.htm I have read the above but just want to clarify as to do this once. I want to get the CMP everything they need so I can place an order in the very near future. I understand the following. 1)join the Garand Collectors Club and have them forward my info to the CMP 2)send a photocopy of my birth certificate to the CMP 3)send a signed copy of my C&R That is all, correct? Afterwards to place an order can I just call or do I have to mail in the order with purchase certification signed and notorized? |
| You still have to send an order form each time you place an order. The initial notarized form will be good for 3 years and kept on file. This will negate the need to find a notary for every order placed within that timeframe. I have called to add a case of ammo to an order that was mailed in and already in progress. |
Uh, I don't understand the question. What is on their web site is what they accept. It's their rules. Play by them. |
Yes, If your over 60 you don't have to submit any qualifications. Finally some benefit to being over 60. |
| Not trying to hijack the post, but I used my C&R when I sent my first order in. I didn't know whether or not to sign the C&R copy I sent them. I wasn't using it in the proper way, just to satisfy the requirements. I called the CMP, the woman I asked didn't know and transferred the call to someone else. No answer from them, had to leave a message, they never returned the call with an answer. Sent an email with the question. No answer. My only complaint about the CMP. So I signed it and sent it. Got a Garand! Signed or unsigned, anyone? Greg |
I signed mine. Why wouldn't you? |
