Is anyone using the Vltor stock on their M1A..?

I have a Scout Squad and I just ordered the Vltor for it. I'm planning to add the Vltor rail system that is sold only through Springfield Armory as well.

I like the Sage EBR but... I think the Vltor looks cooler and may be a little lighter...

Any input or pics would be great...

You'll need to get a sling swivel loop rail attachment if you want more than a single point sling with the Vltor CAS-14 / Cluster Rail.

I like single points but this gun may be a little too heavy for it... Do you have the CAS-14 rail cluster..?? Do you like it..?

I don't have the Vltor CAS-14 cluster rail or the Vltor M1S (aka M14 Modstock) stock.  I did read the review of the system at militarymorons.net  He did a very good review on the site over there.

Yeah I looked at the review and it was very good... just wanted to find someone with hands on experience with either item...

Thanks....

Thanks in advance for the pics...

I looked at a SOCOM II at the store the other day since it has the rail cluster. I'm thinking Vltor stock, Rail cluster, Aimpoint, and a Surefire verticle foregrip/light.

OOOOH I think that may be a cool 300-400 yard gun that hits hard and handles nice.

Now I just need the $$$$$. I'll keep you posted

Thanks for the link.... I picked up my Vltor last week and hope to get it to the range soon. Once installed the handling of the gun was vastly improved. Since the bulk of my practice is with an Colt M4, Benelli M4, or Remington with short speedfeed stock w/ pistol grip I've grown accustomed to pistol gripped long guns. I think the Vltor stock is going to be great. Now I'm saving up for the Quad rail system by Vltor.

I'll post range results when I can.....
