Well guys,
I think its time to upgrade my man card. I purchased a M1A scout with black synthetic stock over the weekend for right under $1100 bucks delivered.
I shot a buddies M1A a while back and it converted me immediatley. The knock down power just blows a AR away.
Can anyone give me some good links for info on the M1A info in general on how to take care of her. I will take any links any of you have for anything that has to do with the M1A. I dont have it yet, Waiting period.
I have never taken one apart so I may need some links for help as for the bolt, etc. or maybe it will be easy.
I read on here that the eotech may have issues on the scout. I have a new in box 551 I was hoping to put on it. Should I go with an aimpoint instead. Any upgrade you all can suggest would be appreciated also.
these  are some things I need help with mounting. I mean I know how to mount them, But there may be better ways then I know
Surefire light.
bipod
and scope base in case I use a 3x12x44 illuminated scope I have instead of the eotech.

Get The M14 Owners Guide by Scott Duff. It's a brief, informative, easy read that will tell you all you need to know about the care and feeding of your M14 clone.

It cost's $18.00 to $20.00 and is available at Fulton Armory, Orion 7, Scott Duff's web sight and several other places that sell M14 parts and services.
