The clip on the back of the top handguard, should I buy a tool to remove this or does someone have another way of getting it off without ruining anything?

If I need to buy one, where is a good place to get it?  Thanks

If you are just removing one then the tool is pricey at $25.00. You can buy them from Browell's made of either laser cut aluminum or a hardened steel (I bought the stell one myself)

To remove a single clip twist a lenght of wire through eash hole in the bottom of the clip. Attach one wire (op rod side) to a vise or other solid object. Wrap the other end around a wooden dowel or similar object and gently pull the clip open while rotating the HG out of the clip (remove the non op rod side 1st)

Install in the same manner but start with the op rod side and rotate the clip towards the non op rod side.

Hope that makes sence.
