| According to everything I've read, the M1 trigger will not work in an M14 trigger group. But, a local gunsmith (ex -mil armorer) claims they are interchangeable and apparently has done so very often over the years w/o modification. So what DOES happen if you put an M1 trigger in an M14 trigger group ??? |
| They will interchange but an M14 trigger group with an M1 trigger will not have full auto capability ( not a factor with semi M1a's ). An M14 trigger will work normally in a M1 trigger group but you will / may have too trim back the sear trip arm so it doesn't drag on the inside of stock... |
