FYI Vltor Update: I just spoke to Heather at Vltor and she said that they currently have 200 M14 Modstocks in production with anticipated delivery at the end of April, maybe sooner. She is taking names for a waiting list (which does not require a deposit or cc info) and can be contacted at 520-408-1944. Currently the pics on the website and in the current issue of G&W for LE are of prototypes and no production models have been made available to the Military, LE Agencies, or the public, hence no feedback is available. Interestingly enough, she mentioned they weighed the Modstock this morning and it was 1 oz. lighter than the USGI Fiberglass Stock (of course that does not include the rail system that was featured in the G&W article and will be available in approx. 6 months from Springfield Armory ).
