I've finally decided to take the plunge and start assembling the parts for a M1A/M14 build.  I was considering using a Armscorp or Springfield receiver. Could anyone give me some idea on the quality of these parts, and where would be a good place to purchase one.

get a springfield  or a LRB.
they are both available thru your local FFL.

I have both SA and LRB's,happy with both.But the LRB's quality just jumps out at ya,get an LRB and you will be more than pleased!
