Sorry if this sound silly but have you checked straight from Smith Ent. Back when the AWB expired I got a .308 Vortex from them with no trouble at all.

Checked the site, not there. Just the direct connect (unless I overlooked it).

Hmmm...You're right. I'm sure they have it is you call. Brownells has them as well, but are currently out of stock.

========= SEI has the OEM replacement Vortex in stock. It will be up on their website shortly. Just call the factory: 1-480 964-1818.
