I finally received my order from the CMP today, and I must say that the order came faster than I was expecting!! My rifle arrived only 17 days after putting my order in the mail!!
Overall, the rifle seems good. It is a Greek Service Grade Harrington and Richardson Garand. The metal is in excellent condition, all blue and muzzle looks nice. Bore is bright and shiny!! I feel like it is probably a new barrel.
My one gripe would be the stock!! As you can tell from the pictures, it is hard to get the front handguards and the stock any more mismatched as far as color is concerned.
I am assuming that it is a Greek stock on it, because it feels like a 2X4. heNeedless to say, I have ordered another Walnut Garand stock to replace this one with. I will probably keep the handguards though. I hope that this will help the ergonomics of it though, because to be honest, it just plain feels terrible in my hands.
Anyway, the pictures are here, cosmoline and all!! Enjoy!!

As you can tell from the picture, the stock portrudes out 1/4" on either side in relation to the top handguard. Now I know what people were talking about when they complained about the stocks on some of these greek rifle.

They are not designed to be flush.  Looks pretty good for a CMP Greek to me.  Congrats...

It looks like the wood on your rifle is pretty good compared to others I've seen, particularly the Greek rifles.  Yeah, the handguard isn't supposed to be flush, so don't sweat it.  NICE RIFLE!  Enjoy!
