The does a 16 in m1a take a modidied m14 stock or does it use a standerd m14 stock. If i buy 1 will i be able to change the stock w/ somthing commercialy avaliable

AFAIK, the M1A SOCOM 16 will take a standard plain Jane USGI synthetic stock.

ACTUALLY I WANT A PISTOL GRIP STOCK, i was gonna go mcmillan m2a or sage but i think the sage is heavy bulky and it seems like it does more than i need it 2, Dont get me wrong i love rails and i have rails on everything even my mossy, I like to mount surefires but i think the sage is ugly and for CQB the heavy stock and the 16 in barrel seem counter productive
