I was shooting a M1A with a 20 round mag and kept getting FTF. I tired it with a 10 rounder and it works flawless. I used two other 20 rounders and found that I had to push the mag foward and it would work fine. It seems to me that the 20 round mags fit loose. Anyone had this trouble? The mags are from Springfield. I'm going to contact Springfield on Monday to see what they say.

They should be GI mags, I would assume. Is it a new rifle?

Exactly, if your 20rounders are not USGI mags you can expect problems with feeding- especially if you load it up to a full 20 rounds.

Yes its a new rifle and no they are not GI mags. I'll order some GI's first to try out. Thanks for the input.

That's your problem. USGI's should run flawlessly.
