I`ve decided to buy a F/S with a Bayonet Lug from Fulton Armory. Are they decent to do business with? Ok on returns?

One last dumb question, Will the Fulton Armory F/S fit on my Springfield`s NM barrel? Thanks

I purchased one from them in September.  Very fast service, and as before, no issues.  I put it on my standard grade M1A.

It appears to be bored out for NM (larger hole), so it should go on yours just fine.  Save yourself some trouble and get the pliers if you don't have a set already.

If you wait a couple of weeks they usually have a 20% off sale for Christmas.

I purchased my AWB sunset celebration gun from them. After my experience with them in the last 2 months, I have deceided to use them for all of my AR, M1A, and Garand needs. The quality and customer service is outstanding.

They do great work... but their prices for service and parts " esp M14/M1A parts " is outrageous.

Zmeja how hard is it to change F/S yourself? I`m only changing it because I need the B/L for something.

Also I called Fulton yesterday and they said that they are out of F/S with B/L untill three weeks from now.

You need:

1/16" allen wrench
vice (cushioned in some way to prevent damage to your rifle)
flash suppressor pliers
new flash suppressor

There's another size allen wrench you'll need to remove your old sight from the old flash suppressor, but don't remember size.  It's something like 5/32" or some such.

Field strip the rifle (just take the stock off) and carefully put the barrel end into the vice (if you have some AR barrel vice blocks, this may work).  Unscrew and remove the small allen screw in the front of the flash suppressor, which secures the nut (castle nut) in place.  DON'T LOSE THE SCREW!  Unscrew and remove the allen screw holding the front sight on.  Don't lose that one either.  Use the castle nut pliers to loosen the castle nut until you can turn the castle nut with your fingers.  As you unscrew it, gently pull the flash suppressor off the front of the muzzle.  You'll end up removing both.  Clean the threads (if need be), don't damage the crown, and reverse the process to put the weapon back together.  It took me about 30 minutes, and I was going slowly.

I've bought quite a few M1A parts for a build and spares. They are great to deal with. I like their quality as well.
I'd recommend them.
