| I have always shot rimfire, and I am getting ready to move on to Centerfire. I have always wanted a couple rifles from the M1 series, and I love to take my guns apart and put them back together. My question is, If I purchased the receiver alone, what tools would I need to install all parts correctly and perform general maintenance? I do mean ALL tools, even if it is a screwdriver, because I want to set up a small 'shop' in my garage to work on my guns. In particular I want to look into a M14/M1A, M1 Garand, and M1 Carbine. Also, are there any brands of specialty tools you would suggest over other tools on the market. I want to do it all right. |
