Anybody use one? I'm getting one to help with my M1A issues. I'm also thinking of putting a Harris bipod and a scope on the rifle. What the hell.

So who's got one of Rooster's cheekpieces? Thoughts?

chiz45 has one.  We've both used it on his DMR clone.  We both like it.

I have one as well.  It is a good piece and a better alternative than a 400 dollar stock.

I have used/installed the Rooster33 cheekrest on numerous M14 stocks that I have painted, and also use it on my Rem 700 VS & Robarms M96.

IMHO, it is an excellent accessory.Though I might be a bit biased as he is a personal friend and shooting companion!!

Over time he has improved the design of the cheekrest(the cutout sides for your hands), and changed the hardware to a more user friendly "tool less" style.I am lucky as I get to test out some of his offerings and provide feedback/suggestions to him.

Rooster33 also makes a nice NM stainless one piece recoil spring guide, a "tactical" bolt release, and a forward bolt on scout mount for Aimpoint optics.

[shaking head] ....I know, I know....what was I thinking....Actually I'm quite happy with the results!

Now....if it had been a USGI stock that looked that good, I would've altered it by putting a a sparrowhawk dummy selector rod... and then found a nice wood stock for the DMR
