Info: M1A pre-ban 3 generation Springfield mount 4-14x56 3rd Gen Springfield scope
I want to get Springfield rings, but what height? Believe it or not, I'd like to be able to use the open sights too. Or would that put the scope too high?

for a 56mm objective you will almost definetly need high or extra high rings.
