Yes, From when I had them recore one…
To be eligible for this service, you'll need to have an approved tax stamp and a complete silencer first, as we cannot do anything that would convert a non-silencer into a silencer for you, and we cannot perform work on illegal silencers. You'll need to send in the complete, legal silencer that meets the ATF definition with all existing components. We require a copy of your approved tax stamp as well.
ATF defines a silencer as minimally a tube with a mount and a front cap with a bore at least large enough to pass a projectile of the caliber listed on the approved form (there is no maximum bore size, but listed caliber is the minimum). The silencer sent must match the accompanying approved Form 1/Form 4 or filed amendment for engraved information, length and caliber. ATF has stated that +/- 1” of what is on the Form 1 (or amendment) is the acceptable range for silencer length. We can replace any part of a silencer except the main tube. We cannot, however, change the caliber or length of a silencer, except for the “minimal shortening as necessary for repair purposes” outlined by ATF. If your engraving is of insufficient depth or size (minimum 1/16” character height to a depth of .003”), we will have to re-engrave prior to returning it to you
