Pros vs cons of short vs long? They make two so obviously there is a need for one or the other, I just don't know what the different need is? Also, is anyone else making this adapter? DM wait time has gone up even more now.

These are for the SiCo Omega and YHM's muzzle devices for 5.56(LT/LA) are short and the 7.62" devices are longer.  On a Form 1 where it is your stack it would not matter in that you could build the stack to accommodate both.  On SilCo's already build can if you want to use a factory long YHM brake the adapter needs to be made longer to hold it.  BigWaylon will correct me if I am wrong, but the long one would be universal and the short one would give you shortest overall length on the small brakes.

Not necessarily to correct Ryan, just to further explain.

Chris makes three YHM adapters that I'm aware of:
1. Regular YHM adapter, which you would use on a Form 1 can, and then design the configuration with the appropriate size blast chamber. This would be similar to a standard 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 adapter.
2. Short YHM/Omega adapter, which will work with 5.56 MB/FH as well as the ones designed for the LT suppressor (5.56 size, but .30 bore).
3. Long YHM/Omega adapter, which will work with all of the YHM muzzle devices, including the full size 7.62 versions.

(Not entirely sure if they fit the Wraith models without a little work on the muzzle device)

As a note, the SiCo Y-Mount MAAD adapter is long enough for the 7.62 version, but they don't offer a shorter version.

As far as other sources, none that are ready. I do have somebody else working on it, but it's going to be a couple weeks before he can even start.

Long one for the Classic 30 cal Mounts, the long ones. Short for 5.56/LT mounts.

IIRC the Wrait mounts have an extra ring on them to prevent mounting on a rifle can on a pistol mount and FUBARing it.  If you remove the ring they can be used.
