I'm almost done with my can. Just got it back from being cerakoated. I chose their hi-temp Tactical Gray color. Now I have a few questions.
I am using a DM titanium 7.5" long 1.5" O.D. tube with 1.375" I.D.
DM titanium griffen adapter
DM titanium stepped coned end cap
I also have a 4" chunk of the DM titanium spacer material on hand.
My plan was to build a suppressor for shooting .308 out of a ar10, .308 bolt action, 8.5" 300blk ar15, and a 5.56 ar15.
I am planning on buying the Griffen 2 chamber brake for the 7.62 guns and the flash comp for the 5.56 guns.
I read a lot of these threads already and my question is on baffles.
I will be using titanium cones from zmachineworks in their 1.372" diameter. From what I have read, it looks like I will need about a 2.4" spacer for my blast chamber. The cones have a .67" skirt. Without having the can in front of me to measure the endcaps and inner tube length, it looks like I will be able to only fit 6 cones in the can and I will have to find a way to get rid of as much as .2" of excess play inside. Should I be using something else for the first blast baffle? Is this thing going to hold up to anything the guns I have listed will send out? Shoild I go to a minimalist brake so I can add an extra baffle? Should I do the radial shaped or the normal cone shaped baffles from zmachine?
