Long story short, the rings I got with my 77/357 are out of spec. 2 minute call to Ruger and I have a new set on the way with no questions asked, beyond how they are out of spec. I've never had any issues with their CS.
Btw, since people are going to ask, it is almost like they put a 1" top half on a 30mm bottom ring but not quite. So you have kind of a C inset into another C with a mm or two of overlap where there shouldn't be any. Probably just missed a reaming pass. |
