mini 14 value?? > Ruger Centerfire Rifle

yesterday i picked up a mini 14 in a trade with a buddy. i have no use for the rifle, no real want for the rifle, hell i was selling the pistol i traded for itso i could buy the revolver i want, but my friend really wanted it, and didn't have the cash, so i did take the trade.

it is a 580 series with the factory folding stock. it also has two 20 round factory magazines, and an aftermarket 30 round magazine.

what is it worth?? should i sell it?? or try to trade it straight across for a S&W 627??

from what my buddy told me he has put 50 rounds thru it, after he bought it new two years ago. the only reason you would ever know it has been fired is because he told me.

any info would be greatly appreciated!

It is the US version of the AK, not good looking, not accurate but it gets me on an 8 1/2 X 11 paper at 100 yds, a good shooter

Does it have the black plastic ATI side folding stock?

Can you post a pic?

If so, they were selling new at CDNN a couple years ago for $575-ish.

it is the factory black plastic folder, im not quite sure who made it.

The Mini-14 Tactical folder goes for $650-$700 new, so I would expect $500-$550 in good condition.

I picked up a 580 series yesterday for 500 with 3 5 round mags and a Maine vue 3-9 on it.
