Has anyone SBR'd a Mini-30?

If so, was it difficult/worth it?

Just an idle thought, but if you SBR an AR, you're essentially SBRing the lower receiver, which you can then easily install multiple short bbl receivers on in different calibers, operating systems, from different manufacturers.  If you SBR a Mini-30, you will forever have a short bbl Mini-30.  Might be more accurate than a stock one, but you won't be easily swapping that bbl for a 6.5mm Grendel or a 9mm bbl.  Why not get a folding stock, & then you'll have an excellent truck gun?

I know.

I've already got an AR SBR (300BLK), I just thought it might be a unique project.

I'm definitely SBR'in my 10/22 next. They are just too cool.

The short garand "tankers " are finicky fuggers on ammo. I imagine shortening the mini would result in this ammo issue too.

cut the barrel to 14" and install a permanent flash suppressor/front sight to make 16" you get the same benefit as SBR without the wait.
