I am building a SBR but will be shooting with a pistol buffer kit until my Form 1 gets approved.
Am I correct in assuming that a muzzle device (Flash hider/brake) does not have to be pinned? |

You are correct. If you are building it as a pistol - there is no need to pin it on. Only when you are trying to make a barrel shorter than 16" into a 16" or longer barrel (avoid SBR paperwork) do you need to pin/solder/weld the muzzle device on. Have fun, Bob S. |
