Building a .22 SBR based on an LMT Defender with SOPMOD stock. I'm at the hospital with my wife filling out the forms, so I don't have the lower with me.  I'm using the "standard" of 18.5 inches as mentioned elsewhere for the stock to the bolt face with the stock extended. The barrel will be recessed inside a 9" handguard, but I think I ignore that.

Does this sound correct?

Beyer Barrel Total Length = 7.5"

Length "set-in" upper receiver = 1.6"

Length protruding from receiver = 5.9"

Total effective length protruding past receiver = 5.5"

Receiver Length (Stock Open) = 18.5"

5.9" barrel + 18.5" Stock/Receiver = 24.4" Overall Length

Form 1 Answers:

Barrel Length:  7.5"

OAL:  24.4"
