I'm looking for some help planning my first 2 SBR builds. The plan is to get a good idea of the parts I want to use so that I can watch for them during all the sales that are about to start popping up. I will be building a 4"-5" 9mm and a 8"-9" 300, both will be suppressed.
I really like the UCIW stocks but then I wouldn't be able to use the JP Silent Springs. If you had your choice, would you go with the JP Springs and the longer LWRCI or the UCIW? I'm thinking about going with the LWRCI on the 300 and the UCIW on the 9 to keep it as small as possible. Although the 9 will get put to use a lot more and I think the JP springs would be a great benefit on it. What say ye??? Any other stock recommendations??? |

I love the JP-SCS, I have them in both of my suppressed ARs and I plan on using one on my unsuppressed AR because the feel of the recoil and smoothness of the action is really nice.
I use a SOPMOD on all my rifles, absolutely love them. The Magpul STR is very similar and nice as well. I don't care for the LWRC stocks. |

Mission First Minimalist is a awesome stock for a SBR. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1424/13602099/24570561/410116629.jpg I agree. I have the minimalist stock on my 5.56 and 300 blackout SBRs. Both have the JP silent capture Springs also. |
| Another vote for the minimalist here. Ive never seen a stock completely eliminate the wobble/rattle like the minimalist. And if you dont like the look of the hooked buttpad just add some paracord and it brings back the traditional stock look. Plus the cordage is a functional addition. |
