I decided it's time to build another SBR my first three years ago is pretty basic 11.5." I've purchased a Noveske N4 chainsaw lower and a VLTOR MUR upper for a start. I think I'm going to do a 10.5", what recommendations would you guys give for a free float rail. I've been looking at the Noveske nsr9.

The NSR is fantastic.  I plan on using the NSR9 on my 10.5" upper :)

I like the URX 2 or 3 from knights but the barrel nut tool is spendy if you don't have a shop that can install it.

I've got a Geissele Mk4 9.5" for my 10.5" (still waiting on the stamp).  The 9.5" Geissele was made for a 10.5" barrel.  Looks great!  I'm a big fan of the Knight's URX rails.  I've got three or four of them on 14.5" and 16" builds.

After getting my BCM KMR handguard I will be buying them from now on.  It is crazy light and very solid.

+1 to this. I have an NSR and a couple KMRs.  The kmr is lighter at a given length, easier to install, and actually comes with installation tools and a couple rail panels. Don't get me wrong, the NSR is great but I feel the kmr is simply a superior system. The 10" kmr fits my 11.5 sbr like a glove.

Yeah. I love Knights rails, but I'm not buying that tool & I don't know a local smith with one.  Sucks.
