Hi Guys,

I am about to build my first SBR and I could use some input from you all. I've decided that I want a Daniel Defense MK18 but I am having an issue in deciding if I want the lower to either be Daniel Defense or a Noveske Gen 2.

I don't want to purchase the entire rifle and have to wait 6-12 months for the stamp while my rifle sits at the gun store the entire time. So I've decided to purchase the upper and lower separately and make the firearm a pistol until my stamp arrives. So here are my options in regards to a lower that I am needing help deciding on:

A. Purchase a Noveske Gen 2 strippled lower and call it a day
B: Purchase another DD Rifle and sell the upper and install the DD lower on my MK18 upper.

In short, which do you think would make for a better SBR a complete DD MK18 or a DDMK18 Upper with a Noveske Gen 2 Lower?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Noveske lower.   You can't buy a DD without buying a full rifle, buying the rifle just to sell the upper just doesn't make sense to me unless you just have to have a DD lower

That is what I was thinking. I'd only do it if the DD lower is better than the Noveske
